I see a lot of strategy guides for the VI, but none mentions a very strong attack that you can get very early in the game: the Blue Bullet Annihilator you get from Experiment. With Invincible accessory, Ann. will hit for 20k+ to 30k+ on almost any enemy. Use 2 Berserkers with Rabite’s Foots and give everyone a Speed Bracer, and give the Gun Mage (I use Paine) a Speed Bracer and Inv. and you can kill almost anything in the VI quickly, other than bosses.

How do you defeat the damn Chac, which hits so hard even Dark Knights with Break HP Limit can’t survive his hits, plus his Stone Gaze can’t be stopped with any amount of Luck or Stoneproof accessory?

This is a tough one and googling the game forums like GameSpot and others, they give mostly the same advice: Get the Catnip (9999 hit every attack hit), use Trigger Happy 3 (which allows multiple hits per turn, usually 10-15) using the Gunner Garment Grid and hope you get in 3-4 turns before you get killed.

But the Concherer sometimes attacks with it’s basic physical attack 3 times in a row, quickly killing off all 3 of your girls. Also, what if you don’t have CatNip? Or what if you just think this is a bullshit way to beat him (and other monsters in the Via Infinito).

The Tapestry

The brand new pastor was newly assigned to his first ministry. He was to reopen a church in a run-down part of the big city. He and his housekeeper arrived in late Autumn excited about their opportunities.

When they saw their church, it was very neglected and needed much work. They resolved to have everything done in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve.

They and some volunteers from the parish worked hard, refinishing pews, plastering walls, painting, etc. A week before Christmas they were ahead of schedule and just about finished. The next day a terrible tempest with a driving rainstorm hit the city and lasted for several days.

The next day, the morning before Christmas Eve, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster to fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high and going up several feet toward the raftered ceiling above.
